Edit- Although I love the look of this fan, I had to come back and revise my review to remove one star. It is VERY noisy! My electrician tried fixing it 3 times, and even though he was able to stop the noise temporarily, it started up again shortly after he left each time. We can't seem to figure out why it keeps happening, but I'm thankful that it's in my living room and not my bedroom, so at least I have my TV to drown it out, because the sound drives me absolutely crazy!

I selected the brushed nickel fan, and I have to say, it is very attractive. The blades are reversible, with grey on one side, and a taupe grainy-looking finish on the other. It's the perfect size for my living room. My electrician installed it with ease, but honestly, I probably could have done it myself if my ceiling wasn't so high and if I had a helper. It is installed at a height of approximately 10 feet on a vaulted ceiling, so I chose to purchase an 18" downrod to bring it down a little lower for better circulation. The pulls that came with it are very plain wood-looking and teardrop shaped, so I decided to purchase a couple of cute fan/light pulls instead to help easily identify which is which. I also added some additional length of chain to make them easier to reach. The fan is connected to a slider switch though, so I will likely only use the pulls to change the fan speed occasionally. I normally run my fan at medium speed, which puts out the perfect amount of breeze without being overly powerful. The brightness of lights is great, especially since that was severely lacking in my last fan. It would be nice if there was an option to use dimmable bulbs, but it's not a deal breaker. Overall, I'm very happy with this fan.

My wife was tired of our living room ceiling fan since it didn't go with the new decor for the room, so I got the DESIGNERS FOUNTAIN Stellant 52 inch Fan to upgrade and make it match the decor.

The black matte finish ties in perfectly to the new decor; just having black fan blades adds a lot to the new look.

I've installed my fair share of ceiling fans, so installing this one was a breeze. Everything you need is included and the instructions were easy to follow as well.

The bonus on this fan that we didn't have with the old one was a remote control. That right there is a lifesaver and now we'll both be taking fewer trips to our light switch on the other side of the living room now. Not that I don't like exercise, but grabbing the remote from the coffee table is very nice. :o)

The lights provide good lighting although I wish it had four lights instead of three but it's O.K. The fan speeds are great and provide enough circulation for our living room. Summer is right around the corner and this fan will be used quite a lot.

Both of us really love the fan and believe it's the main thing that is tying the whole look together.

I got this fan to replace a super-fancy remote-controlled ceiling fan that was put up, and looked beautiful, but never, ever worked, from day one. We spent hundreds and hundreds of dollars more, for electricians to try to figure it out, to no avail.
I decided to replace it with the old-school 2-string manual fan, and it is wonderful!
The lights are very bright, and the fan has 3 speeds, and everything works like a charm!
It was easy to put up, and you can choose white or a natural light wood color for the fan blades.
We had to add a down rod, because of the 12 FT ceilings, but I am so happy with it.
If I had one thing to say, I would suggest longer pull chains to come with it. The down rod lowered the fan to average height, and the light chain is so short I can barely reach it, and I am 5'9"!
But, I can easily replace them.
I recommend this fan!

This fan is very well made and looks absolutely stunning in our dining area. It does require assembly but it was easy to complete and was done within a half hour. It looks really stylish and sleek and fits in well with our modern look. The blades are double sided so you can choose which color/design you like better. It gives off great air flow and has three speeds. It is pretty quiet when on. The lights are frosted and with bright white LED lights it really illuminates the area. This seems to be very well made and durable to last quite a few years before needing replacement. I love it!!
