There are transformations, and then there are transformations. This transitional primary bathroom might just be one of my favourites because, believe it or not, this entire space was once their primary closet. Much like we did on the main floor, we reworked the upstairs layout to create a primary bathroom that felt more generous, functional, and luxurious.

The materials do so much of the heavy lifting here. Marble floors paired with a mix of slab marble and mosaic tile create that timeless foundation, while the ceramic wall tile introduces just enough contrast to keep everything feeling fresh, clean, and collected.

One of my favourite details has to be the custom wood vanity. Beyond warming up all of the stone, it provides an incredible amount of concealed storage (a major upgrade from what pre-existed!) We also designed custom recessed medicine cabinets to maximize every last square inch because, in my opinion, beautiful spaces should work just as hard as they look.

And then there’s the shower. Positioned directly in your line of sight when you enter, the warm brass fixtures immediately catch your eye, while custom marble baseboards, shower jambs, and even the door frame add that subtle layer of luxury that quietly elevates the entire room.
