When it comes to bedding, I’m not shy about playing favorites. Although many people sing the praises of linen, flannel, or percale cooling sheets, to name a few, my top preference is a little out of the ordinary: I’m a major sucker for jersey sheets! Yep, just like the ones you might have had in your college dorm.

While I wouldn’t describe my decorating style as laid-back, I love jersey sheets for that exact reason; they truly feel like you’re sleeping on your softest T-shirt. As soon as I get into bed at the end of a long and busy day, I’m comforted by my sheets. I often miss them while traveling, even when I’m staying in the fanciest of hotels, which is certainly saying something.

My Favorite Affordable Jersey Sheets Are from Amazon

As someone who isn’t shy about sipping coffee in bed, I’m hesitant to invest in pricey bedding. So I purchase most of my pieces from Amazon. I’ve made sure to stock up on multiple sets of my go-to jersey sheets, which retail for just $31 per set for a queen size.

If you don’t believe me when I say just how great they are, take a moment to read some of the thousands of five-star customer reviews. Everyone raves about their coziness, and I agree. These sheets are available in a range of neutral (and bright!) colors, and come in a variety of mattress sizes too.

Jersey Sheets Are Easy to Care For

I also appreciate how ultra-low-maintenance jersey sheets are. Just wash them on cold, per the product instructions, and then pop them into the dryer — no ironing or anything extra needed. As much as I love a well-styled home, you’re never going to find me ironing my sheets.

I’ve currently paired my jersey sheets with a simple blue-gray comforter and set of shams from T.J. Maxx, and I couldn’t be happier with my setup. The true lesson here: You don’t need to spend lots of money in order to make your bed feel ultra-comfortable and relaxing. As for making my bed every morning? Let’s just say that’s something I’m still working on.
